“We are very pleased to be awarded this grant. The CVB can now print a brochure and map outlining the location of the streetscape tiles. This will be a companion piece to the sidewalk mosaic brochure we printed last year. Both documents outline walking tours of downtown Council Bluffs, which are free activities and a fun, visual way to learn about Council Bluffs history and past,” said Kathy Fiscus, director of special projects for the Convention and Visitors Bureau.

Completion of the new brochure mapping the Streetscape tiles is slated for early spring.

The brochure for the downtown sidewalk mosaics that were completed a number of years ago as part of earlier Streetscape projects is available now at the visitor center in the Chamber of Commerce lobby, 149 W. Broadway.
